  1. Hi,

We’re planning on bringing the caravan up and staying on-site, will there be water available?

    Thanks

    • Hi Garry,

No water on-site. If your planing on staying in a caravan you should use the local Dovey Valley campsite, just 1/2 a mile from the race venue.

  2. With regards to the camping – are dogs allowed? (as long as the owners are responsible obviously!)

    • Hi Steffan,

Yes no problem at all, just keep dogs on leads once the racing starts.

  5. Hi

With regards to camping. Is this on the race site? Or is it actually on a campsite?

I’m guessing that there will be toilets & showers available – porta-cabin type? (Mrs is nagging me)

    Thanks Miles

    • Hi Miles,

There is camping on the race site near the finish line, but this is basic camping only. Port-loos but no showers.

If you want proper camping facilities you should use the campsite listed above, where you will have showers and electric hook ups etc.

      Any questions, just ask?

    • Hi Steffan,

      No.

The event is run under race conditions from the start of practice on Saturday morning, though qualifying on Saturday afternoon and throughout the day on Sunday. This means that only those entered in the race, signed-on and displaying a UKGE number board are allowed to use the trails.

  11. The direction seem very vague and only seem to to get you to Machynlleth, is there anywhere I can find further directions to the actual event sight? Also I assume motor homes are allowed?

    • Hi Sam,

Use the postcode SY20 8QJ to find the rough are of the event site. Then follow the event signs that will be put up on the race weekend. Yes motor homes are ok.

    • Hi Jim,

Unfortunately, doesn’t quite work like that. If someone cancels the entry will go back out via the BC website. Your best bet is to check the BC website daily as entries do come up!

      Hope you get in…
