We are stoked to be able to offer an additional prize to the Senior series overall winner, a brand new Genesis Grapil frame, this is Genesis’s first full bounce rig, so its a pretty special prize, here a short quote from them

Genesis are pleased to announce that we will be offering a Genesis Grapil frame to the overall winner in the Seniors category of the 2012 UK Gravity Enduro Series.

 

Enduro-style racing is starting to really gather pace in recent years and in many ways, represents an almost grass-roots form of competitive riding, taking in all the necessary handling and fitness skills that truly define what it is to be a mountain biker. It is this all-round challenge that has really grabbed our attention and you can be guaranteed to see a number of Genesis riders sitting at the start line throughout the series.

 

The Genesis Grapil is a brand new full-suspension frame some 2 years in the making. For a brand famous for it’s steel hardtails, bringing a suspension bike to the table is a bold move. After playing with linkage designs, travel set ups and geometry for a number of years, we are at last happy with the design and are excited to unveil the Grapil for 2012.

 

The Grapil features a 120mm link actuated single pivot design, with a low leverage ratio, that is designed to run with a 140mm suspension fork. The rear travel can be increased to 140mm with the use of a longer stroked shock, making the Grapil an ideal weapon for tackling Enduro events.

 

Two versions of the Grapil will be available in Summer 2012, as well as a frame only option.
